Ok So Here I Go... 40... And Looking For A Best Friend w4w Dear Future Best Friend, Yes as pathetinc as it sounds... I am 40 and looking for a best friend. I feel awkward looking for one on here, but it is so hard to find friends when you are a stay at home mom and you don't have all the connections to the outside world that you did when you were younger. It seems that a lot of women already have that friend from highschool or they connected a lot earlier in life and it just sticks... I'm very happy for them... I really am, it's just that it seems and there is never room for me to squeeze inbetween lol. Don't get me wrong, I have friends, and even a full life, but I don't have the one friend... yah know that one friend that we talk constantly about nothing, something, and very important things... The one person that needs me just as much as I need them. That one person that craves our time just as much as I do and when our husbands are making us mad, they are the first person to . I'm not a needy person, however; I do expect that I hear from you on a constant basis... its ed sharing our lives. This craft seems to be lost on most people nowadays. I need to find that one person that fills our downtime with laughter, stories and common interests. I enjoy having get togethers, going to the movies, shopping, road trips, I must also put a huge emphasis on camping... the more the better... and I would be expecting you to go and like it as well lol I love camping! I go for a whole week before my husband can even come up to join us and I do just fine... I'm not one of those tiny girly girls type, but definitely not a tom boy either... I feel that I'm just right! lol I must add as well that I am not into extreme exercise, I don't mind walking and light workouts at times, but I'm not into hiking, and speed cycling or anything else like that, so please if you are looking for your next project or workout partner... you need to look else where. I don't need saving. I have many facets of my life that I can offer in a friendship and I would love to explore and share yours. I am not a drama driven person, but let's be real, I have to deal with some here and there, and I understand that I will have to help you through yours. I am not into partying like I did when I was younger, but I love to host get togethers, but they usually are fairly calm... My neighbors like me and I like to keep it that way lol :) I'm not into any drugs or smoking and would like that from you in return. I have a sense of humor and would love if you had one too... it'll make for funnier stories into our old age don't yah think? I guess at this time you would like to know a little about me.. huh? Well as I have said I am newly 40. I am married for 16 years but been together for 24... Geesh... We have four children together ranging from 22 to 13 and have adopted one child as well who is also 13, but we also raise our four year old granddaughter as well. I use to work but had to quit when we took our granddaughter in to raise, so much for the college degree being put to use lol Thank goodness my husband has a stable job. I love doing things with friends and family, so expect invitations and expect to have to come... and I'll do the same. I am a self starter and I love to have things perfect if possible and in a world so imperfect you can imagine my plight lol. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and working hard and also finding a way to take it easy as well. I am a person that speaks her mind and I would love to find another at home mom that has some of the same interest/qualities as myself. Is it possible is there another me out there? Someone who will complete me? We shall see... I will add at this time that we are buying our own home, I own my own vehicles and my bills are paid. Now you are saying to yourself, why put that in there? I say this simply because I want you to know that not only that I can hold my own financially and I'm normal, but that I expect that you would be curious as to if I am one of "those people" who always needs a ride or expects you to save me from myself... nope not here and I'm hoping you are the same :) Don't get me wrong, I don't mind helping my friends at all but I am not captain save the world either, but you can certainly expect and know that I will be there for you when needed and I would hope to expect that when I need help I can actually count on you as well. I just cannot and will not support another one sided friendship again... I'm sure you can understand... well now that I have wrote a mini series already... if I sound interesting to you at all... send me a line. If you are another flakey person, don't waste our time... seriously... it's become one of my biggest pet peeves...
