Looking for someone to share life with
I don't want to see another season come and go without attempting to find companionship and someone to share life with. I've kept myself busy with family, friends, self-improvement (no I'm not perfect), and operating my business. I have a fulfilling life, but am looking for someone to spend time and share things with. My friends and family members are all now involved in relationships and I find myself wanting to go to movies, concerts, dinner, special events, etc. but not always having someone to go with. I want to be part of a partnership - someone with which to laugh, cry, gripe, play, hang out, be affectionate, travel, spend holidays, belong . . . I grew up in S.B. and have come to realize that it's not an easy place to meet people once you've become a "mature" adult.
I have a grown daughter and 2 granddaughters who are the sunshine in my day. I've been told naughty housewives wants nsa Ames many times that I don't look like a grandma so don't let that scare you off! I'm self-employed, addiction-free (well almost . . . do chocolate and Starbucks count?), love kids, traveling, laughing, yoga, music . . . I'm independent but miss being part of a couple, friendly but cautious, playful but responsible, affectionate but not clingy, agnostic but spiritual. I'm 5'2", have hazel eyes, long brown hair, and an average build.
I'm looking for a regular guy who lives in the Santa Barbara/Goleta area, who's close to my age, and who's genuine, down-to-earth, comfortable with who he is, responsible, affectionate, and has a sense of humor (don't worry, you don't have to be a comedian!). I'm not looking for someone perfect, but someone who has learned from his mistakes and who isn't afraid to keep on learning. If you smoke, do drugs, drink regularly, or have any other unhealthy addictions, we wouldn't be a good fit.
I'm not wanting to jump into anything, just want to take some time to get to know someone. If you're interested in getting to know me more and letting me get to know you (even as a new friend), feel free to respond!
